Job Description

  • To physically control inventory storage and movement in storage warehouses ensuring that physical inventory is under strict custody and inventory data accuracy is maintained at high reliability.
  • To take responsibility for inventory variants and compensate for missing products and/ or inventory variants.
  • To supervise all Team members and ensure all processes are followed correctly.
  • To ensure products are put-away in a timely and effective manner, into the assigned locations.
  • To ensure receiving, picking, packing, delivery accurately and on time.
  • Responsible for good housekeeping practices in the warehouse, as well as ensuring goods are in the right location and keeping the warehouse clean and tidy.
  • To ensure all equipment is used in a safe and efficient manner.
  • To effectively communicate any operational issues to Operations Team.
  • To utilize & control the storage space efficiently.
  • Control safety stock and make sure stock turnover gets a target.
  • Ensure any damaged, missing, or expired products are reported immediately.
  • To ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse within the agreed financial budgets.
  • Follow and control warehouse documents to ensure that all documents are correct as per accountant regulations.
  • To propose an improvement for effectiveness, productivity, and service.
  • To be responsible for goods and prevent any loss.
  • Any other warehouse-related activities as assigned by the management.
  • Preferably a minimum of 5 years working experience in a warehouse and 2 years experience in the same position in retail or FMCG companies.
  • Strong ‘hands-on’ people management, leadership, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to build positive internal and external working relationships.
  • Team player and collaborator.
  • Good verbal and written communication and reporting skills.
  • Good planning and execution skills.
  • Self-motivated and flexible.
  • Work with a positive spirit and discipline at all times.
  • Ability to develop, implement changes, and the execution the same.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, etc.).
